At the onset of his career, Sameer Vachani worked as an Account Coordinator and Associate Partner at Voltage Factory, an innovative marketing company located in Atlanta, Georgia. In this early role, he maintained responsibility for overseeing Internet-based campaigns while developing client brand strategy.
After Voltage Factory, Sameer Vachani joined Quickparts.com, where he spent nearly a decade in positions of increasing responsibility. Hired in 2003 as the company’s Director of Marketing, he was quickly acknowledged for his outstanding capacity and contributions. In 2006, three years into his tenure at Quickparts.com, Vachani generated $17 worth of revenue for every dollar spent on marketing, and was named the company’s A Player of the Year.
Sameer Vachani became Director of Business Development for Quickparts.com in 2006, and soon received another promotion to Vice President of Business Development. Before assuming his current position in 2011, when Quickparts.com merged with 3D Systems, he acted as Vice President of Product Management, co-leading a team of 10 developers and managers while directing the company’s newly launched QSOFT system.
Before entering the professional world, Sameer Vachani completed a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) at Emory University’s Goizueta Business School, where he studied finance and marketing. He subsequently earned a Graduate Certificate in Healthcare Management and is currently getting an Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) from Jesse H. Jones Graduate School of Management at Rice University.
An emerging leader in the field of 3D printing, Sameer Vachani serves as Vice President of Business and Corporate Development for 3D Systems, a global producer of 3D content to print products based in Rock Hill, South Carolina.
