Terri Patraw

Summary

A key member of the staff at Prior Lake since October 2011, Ms. Patraw has developed technical training programs and goalkeeper clinics for the youth league, coached the top-ranked Under-15 girls’ team in Minnesota, and shared her expertise with promising young soccer players of all ages.

Aside from her work at Prior Lake Soccer Club, Terri Patraw enjoys spending time with her family, volunteers with Habitat for Humanity, writes, plays golf, and goes running whenever possible. Ms. Patraw has completed multiple Twin Cities Marathons and was presented an award for Dedication and Sportsmanship by the city of Shoreview, MN.

Among her many coaching achievements, Terri Patraw spent three years as Head Coach with the University of Nevada Women’s Soccer, during which time she turned the historically underperforming program into the first-place team in the WAC, with a 13-5-4 record. Prior to coaching the Wolf Pack, she served as the first Head Coach of the NCAA Division I Arizona State University Women’s Soccer program, where from 1995 through 2000, she built the squad into the 13th-ranked team nationwide, advancing to the second round of the 2000 NCAA Tournament and earning a consistent record of success in the PAC-10.

Other NCAA roles include Assistant Soccer Coach and Recruiting Coordinator at Washington State University and the University of Kentucky. Terri Patraw holds a Master of Business Administration from ASU and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Wisconsin—Madison, where she was a standout for the Badgers soccer program.
