Employment History

September 2007– June 2008: RN Case Manager
United Health Services, Johnson City, New York, United States
The management of a patients care during their stay in the hospital while adhering to Medicare guidelines. Reporting to physicians, ancillary staff, patient and families. Making sure patient received all necessary care and assisted with the discharge plan while overseeing an associate discharge planner. Conducted daily interdisciplinary care planning meetings on each patient. Patient load anywhere from 16 - 30 patients on a respiratory and ICU floor.

June 1997– September 2007: Unit Coordinator and Staff RN
United Health Services, Johnson City, New York, United States
Staff nurse in a critical care setting with direct patient care from one to three patients, to include cardiac monitoring, medicinal drip management, and family support and education of patient and families. Cardiac certified and CPR certified. As Unit Coordinator, I was a resource person for staff members, as well as staff development, scheduling, maintaining staff mandatories, educational opportunities and annual credentialing requirements. I was a team member of the initiative to have our hospital become a designated Stroke Center of Excellence by the State of NY. I was responsible for the nursing aspect to include education of all nursing members in two hospitals, assisting in the writing of policy and procedures as well as the adherence to the regulation set forth by NY state.

September 1994– September 1996: Administrative Manager
Finger Lakes Gas Company, Hammondsport, New York, United States
On ground floor of the development of a new natural gas company in New York State in over 30 years. Worked closely and under the supervision of corporate officers located in the NYC region. Developed office space and personnel. Worked with neighboring established gas company to develop "like" computer system. Maintain books, payroll, and developed a benefits package for employees. Maintained and followed the Public Service Commissions rules and regulations set forth for all utilitie companies.

September 1986– June 1994: Regional/Systems Manager
Cablevision, Penn Yan, New York, United States
Hiring and firing of technical and clerical staff. Software conversion specialist and overseeing of three offices. Direct report to General Manager. Worked closely with Corporate staff in the development of a rural cable company. Liason to local municipalities in the efforts of transitioning from "Mom & Pop" cable company to becoming nationally known.
